My favourite plant!

Room 10 is working on creating memory posts about places that are special to us at Grey Lynn. Our lower building will be demolished soon to make room for the new building...but we want to document before it's forgotten! We are sustaining our memories!

This bush will get knocked down this year and I want it to be remembered for a long time so please remember this bush because it's pretty and it's been here since I started school. thank you. Gus and Torin

Improving our school with Straws?

Sounds funny, doesn't it?

On Tuesday Jonty and I  chose a project and we chose number 15 - What do you like about your school and what things would you change?

Then we wrote a  list about what we should make with the straws. We wrote the list using Notes on the ipad. When we finished doing the list we started making the school with the straws and we tock a picture. We put a speech bubble and wrote in the speech bubble and it was fun.

GLS LIVE

Here it is......

Finally got it uploaded ! Whew ! What a mission.

Going live in 5...4...3...2...1

Ipad, Ipads...we've been using our iPads!

We have created a Room 13 news programme called GLS LIVE, where we listen to a podcast from the BBC on Mondays and we choose stories we like and re-tell them using our own words.

WALT listen to information and record the important facts.

Please enjoy our "how to..." video and our very 1st  newscast.

Please leave us a comment so we can reflect on our progress.
