Story of Invisible Isabelle

Invisible Isabelle - Click on this link to listen to the story.

This week is anti-bullying week and today we watched Invisible Isabelle. It's about a girl named Isabelle who got a sewing kit for her birthday. The next morning she woke up early and started to sow some clothes. When it was time for her to get on the bus everyone teased and made fun of what she was wearing. When she arrived at her class everyone else teased her. They called her a clown and laughed at her. She raced to the restroom and threw all her clothes that she had knitted in the bin then she only had her normal clothes on when she looked in the mirror she didn't see anything when her best friend Becky came in she screamed at her Becky didn't even blink Isabelle entered the art room and sat down to cry and said I'm invisible and don't know why just then the art teacher sensed she was in the room. Listen well or you'll be stuck invisible forever the problem is that you've lost your self expression but if you always follow and never take the lead you'll never find what you truly need now start making a new outfit said the art teacher. This time she made it with blue roses POOF! She appeared wow said the art teacher. All the other days her outfits came famous. That's the end.
The message from the story is don't bully people and always be your true self!

The Candy house and the Witch

Once there was a house made of candy. A little woman lived in it. The house had windows made of candy floss and the base of it was made of bubble gum. The walls were made of ginger bread and the door was m&m's. The woman wasn't just a normal woman, she was a witch! She was a very bad witch. Once two boys came along and they took some candy, put it in their pocket and knocked on the door. The boys said, "who is there?" The witch opened the door she and noticed that they took some candy. The boys names were Tom and James. The witch said, "come in," so the boys went in. But it was a trap. The boys fell into a cage. The cage went up above a pot. The witch laughed, "he he he I have got you now." "Oh no, what are you going to do to us?" said Tom and James. "I will turn you into zombies". "Ahhhhhh please don't!" said the boys. "I'll just lower your cage now.... bye bye." she said as the cage lowered. By Torin

Wet trampoline

Yesterday afternoon me and my brothers wet our trampoline and put soap on it. It was so fun and slippery. We were slipping and sliding and we also made a new game. I will tell you about the game. So you wet the trampoline and put soap on it. Then you try push the people playing so they fall. If every person is on the ground apart from you you win. by Torin

Pokemon Go

Pokemon Go is a great game but it is also very dangerous because some people can walk on the road and get hit by a car. Other people can walk off cliffs. Some people have already died because of Pokemon Go. Pokemon Go is very addictive because people are on the hunt for rare Pokemon, even I play Pokemon Go sometimes. Did you know Pokemon stands for pocket monster?
I wouldn't play Pokemon Go near a busy road. but if you want good Pokemon you should go to mission bay?
Pokemon Go has eggs that you can hatch Pokemon from. The eggs are 2.km eggs, 5.km eggs and 10.km. You can get Pikachu, Squrtle, Charmander and more from the 2.km eggs. I think you can get Syther, Electabuzz and more from the 2.km eggs. And finally The 10.km eggs you can get Lapras Snorlax and more. So now you know all about Pokemon Go. By Torin

School Rules

Me and my brother made a movie called School Rules. We made the movie on imovie. We made the movie because we wanted to make it so people would follow the rules. We put the three R's in the movie the three R's are respect, responsibility and resilience. By Torin.

MINECRAFT WAR

In Minecraft me and my step brother Kyle are building a base/castle.Kyle and I have got war horses that we use in battle. We found a village on the world not long ago so we made a big pathway to the village. The base/castle in enormous. Tonight when we get home we will build a shelter. We have started the shelter but we have only done the barrier so we have some cover. We have knight armour and I dyed it the colour of knight armour. We only have iron swords but we do have bow and arrows.

I can tell you how to dye armour but it only works with leather armour so:  get a cauldron, some leather armour, any coloured dye and some water. Now lets get started. Put the water in the cauldron and then put the dye in the cauldron with the water. Then get your leather armour and then dab it in the dye and water then do it with the rest of your armour. There... you have done it. By Torin

My favourite plant!

Room 10 is working on creating memory posts about places that are special to us at Grey Lynn. Our lower building will be demolished soon to make room for the new building...but we want to document before it's forgotten! We are sustaining our memories!

This bush will get knocked down this year and I want it to be remembered for a long time so please remember this bush because it's pretty and it's been here since I started school. thank you. Gus and Torin
