If I were an explorer I would explore my mind and let it go free and run with it. I would see all the patterns in my mind, and find all the pigs.(I like pigs) I would cuddle all the fluffy toys and monsters, in my memories. I would paint the best picture in the world. I would run free and explore massive parts of my mind.

The strange creature and his car
The strange creature and his car
Once there a boy named Michael. One night in his deep sleep he woke up in the middle of the night and saw shadows all over his room. Then he noticed the window was open. He jumped to close it but just as he got there a strange looking creature came in. Then he jumped under his bed. The creature jumped down onto his desk and then onto the ground when the creature went out of the room. Michael climbed out of under his bed and closed the window. The creature was in the kitchen trying to open the pantry. As mum heard a sound from the pantry, she ran downstairs. An evil robot appeared and picked up the creature and threw it through the door and they lived happily ever after. by Jonty and Weston

Writing poetry is as fun as eating a purple lollipop on the back of an elephant!
Very funny! The title is a simile and we have been learning to write them and use them in our poetry and narrative writing.
See if you can guess who these children are before they pop out from behind their picture. Enjoy their simile poems about themselves.

Simile Poems
We are finishing our Poetry Unit by writing similes about ourselves. A simile is when you compare two things using like or as.
Have fun watching our movie and see if you can guess who it is before they pop out from behind their picture.
Enjoy!

The Stinky Linky Poem
Stinky linky sucking his binky,
Rolling down the stairs eating his pears,
It's seeming that he's gleaming,
for no apparent reason in such a cold season,
riding on his tricycle with his mum on her bicycle,
icicle falling on their heads,
time to go to sleep now let's get in our beds.
Bye bye for now see you soon.

A Dream Come True
A dream come true would be to have 100 kittens with little mittens
And we lived in a Candy Land with an awesome band
but thats not all we would want.
We could have our own kingdom and we would be the queens.
A dream come true.
We would use the force and we would have a beautiful horse.
A 1000 pounds in the castle grounds.
And thats what we would dream.

The Mysterious Wood.
The Mysterious Wood.
Flap flap flap went the wings of a butterfly in the magic garden. That garden belonged to Fairyland. All the plants in Fairyland were covered in either snow drops or rain drops. New Fairies were born once a week, but as new Fairies were born they started to want to go on more and more adventures. They started to walk, then run, then they started to fly into the woods! And they meet lots and lots of different types of animals to be friends with. And as they kept walking it started to get dark and started raining. They had to go home with one of their friends. Their friend was Wizard. Finally they were at Wizard's house. In their bedroom the Fairies saw a mysterious looking door and so they tried to open it. but it was locked. The next day they went home to have fun.

More animations!
We have been learning about animations. These are our first attempts. Our success criteria are:
Must have 3-4 movements.
Can have a sound effect at the end.
Once we have all finished our first animations, we will plan a longer one around our Space theme.
