Olive's Poem on her gifts of being a friend.

Olive wrote a lyrical poem about what she has to offer as a friend. She even wrote a solution to the issue of trading special things in the classroom.

The science show

On the 30th of October the Kauri team watched a science show. The scientists were called Allen and Emily. Five kids came up the front and had to try to find out what they were, tasting, sniffing and looking at. They also told us about the periodic table and lots more.At one point, Allen put carbon dioxide in a sealed container.The lid popped of and the carbon dioxide went shooting out. He put some blue stuff in a cup and poured it over a teacher.The blue stuff stayed in the cup! It was the best science show ever! By Olive

Waterford riding centre

After school I am going to Waterford riding centre. My guess is that I will be riding Zoe, a tall chestnut mare(I always ride Zoe).On Monday, Week 7, Frodo the goat got into all the hard feed! Last week's drama was pretty exciting. The people were, me(obviously) my friends, Silvie and Sasha and a girl called Amanda. Anyway, when the horses were at a canter, Silve fell off! Waterford riding centre is the best! By Olive
